When not out touring the country, headlining his own shows and opening for such artists as Lynyrd Skynyrd, Hank Jr, and Gary Allan, he continues to write and record. He’s released 3 EPs and 2022’s debut full-length “The Future’s Neon,” comprised of songs he’s co-written. He’s also penned songs for artists such as Jason Aldean, Jerrod Niemann, and Justin Moore, while also writing number-one singles for Jameson Rodgers with 2020’s “Some Girls” and Morgan Wallen’s breakout hit “Up Down” featuring Florida Georgia Line.
With the fuel of both Southern rock and country music influences pumping through his veins, it’s no surprise that CJ Solar is a natural at fusing the two worlds. Combine that with Delta blues, compliments of a childhood spent in Cajun country, and you’ve got one badass up-and-comer, with pure musical talent and vocal chops to back him up.
